Joan Piccalo, PLA, Owner

A registered landscape architect and an accredited LEED professional, Joan has provided design guidance in some of the most exclusive neighborhoods & resorts in Georgia, Florida and the Caribbean.  Her work on mixed-use developments in China adds to her agility in international environments.

Since graduating from the University of Georgia in 1996 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Joan has aspired to balance development with conservation, function with imagination.  Her appreciation of art, engineering & natural beauty were inspired by family influences: her grandfather worked for NASA and sculpted after he retired, her father consults on large construction projects, and her mother supports the environment & the arts.  Joan regularly volunteers in the local and professional communities to educate & inspire others in their quest for an improved quality of life through sustainable design.

OTHER STAFF

Joan collaborates with talented local landscape architects, designers, and technicians to produce concepts and drawings timely and efficiently.  Landscape architect staff have a minimum Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree, and software skills such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Sketchup.
